    Came back again since last unpleasant experience with my husband and daughter. Requested a table with view but very rude host told us no choice to sit by very noisy band performing stage. hard to talk, no view, we were about to walk out again but everything changed when our amazing server came with smile. Her name is YUKI. She is extremely helpful about gluten free options, mahi taco, Brussel sprouts, edamame with all topping on side. We had a few servers, but we loved it when we had YUKI. She is the best and phenomenal, attentive to all the details, caring with full positive energy. we will be back if we can get this level of service again. Thank you very much Yuki.

    Five star atmosphere. Great view at night 360 degrees around Berkeley from the 12th floor! Fire pits. Bar stool level tables. Loungers. Indoor and outdoor seating. Stylish lighting. Three stars for service. Friday night around 10pm and takes 20 minutes to get your drink after 10 minutes waiting to place the order. But super duper nice waitress though. I think it's more that they're understaffed; management issue. Cool list of drinks. And they'll smoke 'em with flavored smoke for a neat twist that I rarely see. Very fun place to hang out. Mood music playing but you can still hear yourselves talk.

    So this rooftop is above a hotel and doesn't really feel like it's part of the hotel? They have a large indoor space and a nice amount of outdoor seating with good views. Be aware that it's not one big space outdoors, it's broken up by lots of vents and walls. The drinks are decent and the food looked good tho we didn't end up eating there. Service was wonderful. A great place to chill after work.

    Great views! Been here a few times in the past few months, usually as a follow up to wherever I was earlier in the night. Great casual place to grab and indoor or outdoor seat and have a drink and hang out with friends. You can catch a view of any direction from downtown Berkeley. I wish this place existed when I lived in Berkeley. Kudos to the designers and the operators for keeping this place clean and making it look nice and not stale. Bumped into a friend who was just wrapping up a live music set on the rooftop, disappointed that I didn't know about it and that I missed it. Each time I've been, the bartenders have been professional, but not quite as far as being considered nice or friendly. Not a complaint, just a comment. I'm always surprised this place isn't completely packed, but maybe they don't want it that way and price things accordingly. Definitely a solid spot. I started off with a 4.4 rating in my head and put this at 4 stars, but have decided this is more like a 4.8, so I will bump it up to 5 stars. This seems like a place that would try to charge a cover and that would be annoying and I'd probably skip it. I'm not paying a cover to go get one or two drinks and hang out for 45 mins. But, they do not charge and they provide a wonderful environment.
